Architect secured.....

So we have found, secured and hired our architect for the project. We are extremely excxited as this marks the first real phase of the project.

And so we begin.....

And so the project begins....hopefully we can use this space to keep a few of you (and ourselves) abreast of progress and successes and failures along the way. We hope you enjoy the trip and, most importantly, the finished product!!

Here is 3961 in all of it's original glory....don't get too used to this site as none of it will remain in just a few months:

You will also find another ratty bedroom on the main floor and the first room that you walk into (aka family room) is also not pictured. The basement is also unfinished but has another full bathroom and a 'bedroom' (if you want to call it that). I think you get an idea of what we are working with here.....
